**Who do we need?**
The team currently need another Microwave Electronics Engineer to help with research & development of working prototypes. Working under a Principal Microwave Engineer, you will need to be able to design RF/Microwave PCB’s and to carry out testing on prototypes. You will be someone who has a strong technical interest in RF/Microwave technology and be a relatively independent worker.

Other fields of interests you may have dabbled in could include radar, electromagnetics, microwave, antennas, or digital signal processing.

**Does this sound like you?**
- Capable of working independently in an R&D role
- Competent working within the 2.45GHz to 9GHz frequency range
- Can conduct microwave test measurements with and use equipment like spectrum analysers, network analysers, power meters, soldering iron, heat guns etc.
- Experience in microwave circuit design, e.g., amplifier chains, harmonic rectifiers, phase/amplitude measurement hardware
- Experience in microstrip and planar transmission line-based circuit design
- Proficient in the use of microwave circuit modelling software, e.g., ADS, AWR
- Proficient in the use of PCB layout and fabrication, e.g., Altium, KiCad
- Experience with SMD soldering, e.g., 0402 packages
- Experience with high frequency modelling software, e.g., HFSS, COMSOL, CST Microwave Studio
