We have a fantastic new opportunity for a highly motivated insurance professional to manage the overall Ando ‘Scheme’ portfolio, including the underwriting, portfolio and governance program that relates to Schemes, Facilities and Agreements.

You will have commercial underwriting experience at a senior level, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service for end customers and brokers. You’ll have a strong understanding of underwriting principles and commerciality with the ability to communicate them effectively to others. You’ll have experience managing people and will be a bloody good human.

Helping our business grow and succeed in a challenging and changing environment, you’ll be responsible for:

- Managing the overall Scheme portfolio, managing to agreed targets, relating to the overall business mix in Schemes.
- Delivering profitable growth of the Ando Scheme portfolio
- Partnering with the Portfolio Managers on strategies to achieve overall portfolio goals in conjunction with individual scheme performance.
- Building and maintaining relationships with the broker market to create new scheme opportunities.
- Manage the underwriting process for new business, renewals and referrals within Ando underwriting parameters and service standards.
- Providing leadership, coaching and technical underwriting support to the Schemes team to empower the team to deliver on their team and individual goals.
- Staying on top of current market trends, regulatory and financial compliance changes and their impact on the industry.
