Catering Assistant

Working under the guidance of our Chef manager, you will get the chance to improve your skills, understanding of flavours and expand your knowledge of recipes and styles of cooking.

This is a permanent, full-time role (32 hours per week)
- Shifts are rostered Monday to Sunday 10am to 7.00 pm
- Help to prepare, cook and serve breakfast/ lunch/dinner meals,
- Serve residents and staff,
- General cleaning duties and dish washing,
- Other duties as and when required by the Chef Manager.

Criteria for the role:
You must have a minimum of one year experience in a commercial kitchen and have the following attributes:

- Intermediate food and baking knowledge especially in bulk quantities,
- Proven ability to multitask and work within a team environment,
- Open minded to different cultures with an understanding of a second language a bonus,
- Resilient and able to work under pressure in a busy, fast pace and culturally diverse environment,
- Show a passion for food and interest in growing your career in the kitchen.

This site is close to public transport.
