TWG has partnered with Manhattan Associates to deliver a best practice warehouse management, labour management and supply chain intelligence solution for our distribution and fulfilment centres.
With this in play, we are searching for a **Software Test Engineer **to join us.
As a Chapter member, you are responsible for undertaking activities aligned to the mission of a squad, bringing skills that are able to support the implementation and delivery of high-quality WMS Software Products & Services within Product Delivery teams. You will work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver outcomes identified as part of the QBR process for each squad. Within the chapter protocols and using your skillset to its fullest, you will carry out actions independently and with others within the squad’s remit that fast track the delivery of goals, deliver quality outcomes and minimise or remove obstacles.
In your role you will help implement and deliver high quality products in our engineering teams, your responsibilities may involve:
- Ensuring all features and functions are released with the end user in mind and behave as expected.
- Contributing towards building beautiful, elegant, clean and secure software products & solutions that meet business objectives and create amazing ‘best in class’ customer experiences.
Qualifications**
About you**
Key skills include:
- Test planning, test preparation, test execution, maintaining test environments and test data.
- Experience in System, Integration and User Acceptance testing.
- Strong SQL and data analysis skills
- Experience in writing UI automation scripts using tools such as Cucumber, Selenium, WebdriverIO
- Experience working with defect management tools e.g. JIRA.
- Able to understand of how solutions are architected and integrated internally and with external third-party software.
- Ensure demonstrable experience identifying and implementing opportunities to improve testing processes and/or approaches on projects
- Demonstrated ability to investigate, analyse, summarise and make recommendations or decisions on a variety of issues/defects.
- High standards of work quality and output, including the ability to prioritise, work to deadlines and maintain performance under pressure.
- Predisposition to find ways to break software systems, attention to detail
- Ability to work on the complex projects comfortably.
- Previous experience working with Warehouse Management Systems/Supply Chain products.
