- This is an exciting opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner to work alongside our highly skilled CADS Nurse Practitioner to gain new skills relating to substance abuse disorder, co-morbidity and co-existing problems.

**Mōu | About you**

Skills and experience you’ll need to be considered for the role:

- Qualified as a Nurse Practitioner in New Zealand who is interested in developing your scope of practice to include addictions.
- A current practising certificate with the Nursing Council of New Zealand.
- Ability to work in positions of responsibility, demonstrating assessment skills and independent decision-making.
- Ability to successfully engage and empathise with families/whanau in a positive manner.
- A current full New Zealand drivers licence.

- Community Alcohol and other Drugs Service (CADS), Te Whatu Ora Waikato, provides support and services for Tāngata whaiora and whānau with complex alcohol and other drug concerns.
- Our CADS team works collaboratively with our Te Whatu Ora Waikato colleagues and across the Rohe to achieve results for our Tāngata whaiora, while continuously learning and developing our own skills.
- Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand will shape the delivery of Health services in Aotearoa New Zealand for generations to come, and will form the core of a modern and integrated service looking after the needs of all our Whānau.
