In this role, you will be instrumental in managing and supporting the financial operations of all MediaWorks subsidiaries. If you are detail-oriented, organised, and eager to contribute to our success, we want to hear from you

**The Role**

This is a busy role that encompasses all aspects of the accounts payable function, reconciling invoices and accounts while building relationships with our suppliers and branches. The key responsibilities include
- Manage vendor masterfile records, ensuring all relevant information is captured and processed according to policy.
- Prepare payment runs, ensuring files are correctly loaded to the banking system without errors, approved on time, and within the approved budget.
- Ensure all invoices received are compliant, coded to relevant budget lines, and routed for approval in a timely manner.
- Reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts for month-end and follow up on reconciling items in a timely fashion.
- Escalate requests for urgent payments to the AP Team Lead.
- Supporting Accounts Receivable with day to day operations including processing daily banking, manual invoices requests, setting up payments in Westpac, processing AUData files, monitoring automatic payments and queries on customer remittances for payment allocations.
- Support tasks associated with month-end close including bank reconciliations.
- Customer Reconciliation/Queries as assigned.
- Oversight of the Digital Commons Debtor Aged Trial Balance - monitoring invoice ageing and credit balances.

**About You**
- 3 + years Experience in accounts payable experience.
- Strong attention to detail
- Intermediate Excel knowledge
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to build positive relationships
- Excellent time management, ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced, dynamic environment
- Problem solving ability
- Experience with a financial system e,g. Netsuite, SAP or similar
