Auckland CBD, New Zealand The Hotel Britomart Full time

We are seeking a capable and experienced professional to join The Hotel Britomart in the position of a Reservations Supervisor. You will thrive on immersing yourself in the brand and hotel operation and be proud to be part of The Hotel Britomart team. This is a permanent, full-time position, based on 40 hours per week, with a minimum of 30 hours. The role reports to the Revenue Manager.

Hourly Rate, depending on experience, from $29.66 -$31 per hour.
- Assist in yield management techniques to maximise occupancy, average rate and room revenue.
- Monitor group holdings to ensure room blocks are accurate and release periods are correctly tracked to prevent unexpected wash of rooms.
- Manage an effective ‘Groups’ procedure, ensuring all groups are correctly processed and deposit due by dates monitored, as well as advising all relevant departments of advance group activity.
- Adheres to and enforces Reservations and Front Office systems, procedures, company standards, and policies.
- Provides support to Rooms & Front Office functions as needed.
- Regularly updates system data for contracts, rates, agreements, and guest/client information.
- Ensures thorough knowledge of hotel and guest room facilities/services and verifies reservations agents are equally informed.
- Reviews no-shows and cancellations, processing charges per hotel policy.
- Completes tasks assigned by the Revenue Manager in a timely and efficient manner.
- Conducts daily briefings and debriefings with the reservations team and attends department meetings as assigned.
- Manages time effectively, meets deadlines, and proactively identifies and resolves issues.
- Provides assistance to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Pay: $29.66 - $31.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
