About the Role
The HR Business Partner role, located at Sealed Air Hamilton site, reports directly to the Senior Manager HR Operations, New Zealand.
In this role, you will be a key player in the local and regional HR Operations Team that covers full HR function responsibilities of Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, Employment Relations, Learning and Development, Talent Retention and Engagement, etc. The HR Business Partner will be partnering with business in driving the HR related activities and initiatives for both Hamilton and Auckland Sites within Sealed Air New Zealand.
Key Job responsibilities
- Support the APAC talent hub to deliver a high standard of recruitment professionalism to the Company supporting the company retention strategies by the use of professional sourcing methods, screening techniques and selection of new employees. Direct sourcing of Direct labour employees as required.
- Management of Employment Contract, Entitlements and Benefits.
- Provide advice to managers/employees on entitlements, benefits, and immigration matters. Preparation of employment contracts in accordance with GRF and other company policies. Provide EBA and contractual interpretations to Payroll.
- Facilitate all necessary onboarding requirements for new employees by liaising with Hiring Manager
- Perform the role of HRIS Super User for New Zealand.
- Record maintenance, processing of career event requests in accordance with GRF.
- Manage, support, and administer compensation changes and job evaluations in line the GRF by working closely with business leaders and Total Rewards. Support Managers during the ASR process.
- Participate, contribute to or lead HR/HRIS/Total Rewards/Engagement and Retention, Skills assessment, Talent Management and development projects and initiatives as assigned.
- Assist in developing and executing HR policies and procedures and provide assistance in interpretation to the business.
- Ensure all HR processes and employee records/documentation comply with auditing requirements.
- Assist in conducting investigations to reach a fair & equitable resolution and undertake the role of workplace contract officer coordination.
- Manage and complete company, external and government HR compliance reporting.
- Deliver assigned training to business as assigned.
About the Person
- Extensive experience in general Human Resources services including Talent Management, Industrial Relations, Development, Engagement and Retention initiatives.
- Some experience in Recruitment
- Experience as a Superuser with HRIS systems, (Success Factors an advantage)
- Must be detailed focused.
- Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills and ethics
- Computer literacy in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, WebEx, etc.
- Abe to write and document Letters, Policies and procedures.
- Keep up to date with current recruitment, sourcing and retention practices and data.
