**1M** is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Manager to join our team. As a Mechanical Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing engineering in terms of both design and installation.

**1M** is one of the country’s leading commercial and infrastructure air conditioning mechanical service companies which provides design, build, and install services under the HVAC division of the OCS Group This a
**full-time position** of 42.5 hours/week based in
**Penrose**.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Engineering for projects as directed and agreed with the General Manager / Head of Project Design & Delivery.
- Investigating problems and/or working with the client or their advisors, including 1st Maintenance, to develop, design, and estimate solutions
- Carrying out other special projects
- Developing and maintaining a QA system for design
- Developing tools for designers to demonstrate "Value"
- Maintaining the library of 1M standards
- Overseeing internal engineering training
- Collaborating with the senior management team to implement team decisions
- Management of Engineering Team

**Key Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Experience in tendering for projects
- Familiarity with compliance regulations, including the HSW Act (2015)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
