The Opportunity

We have a great opportunity for an experienced Events and Sponsorship Specialist to join our National Communications and Brand team on a two-year fixed-term basis.

Reporting directly to the National Communication and Brand Manager you will manage Fulton Hogan’s national event portfolio, from planning to delivery and everything in between. Partnering with various internal and external stakeholders you will promote Fulton Hogan’s sponsorships and partnerships.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Organising and managing end-to-end Fulton Hogan’s internal and external key events nationwide including internal leadership conferences, national awards events, and industry-wide forums and conferences.
- Manage and maintain key relationships, promotions and evaluation of sponsorships.
- Facilitate and lead Fulton Hogan’s industry awards programme.
- Assist our regional businesses with identifying relevant local sponsorships and community support opportunities.
- Support and educate the business on best practices.
- Update and maintain relevant database.
- General support of the broader Communications and Brand team activities.

Please note, this is a 24-month fixed-term role.

We’re looking for someone with:

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in event/project management, and end-to-end event delivery.
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Communications, Marketing or Event Management
- Excellent relationship-building and people-wrangling skills
- An eye for detail, exceptional organisational skills, and can deliver to deadlines
- A can-do attitude and calm demeanour
- Great written and oral communication

In addition, you will be great with people, driven and passionate about your work.
