Auckland City, New Zealand Atomic Coffee Roasters Full time

**Job no**: AKRAB

**Category**: Service & Workshop Technicians

**Who are we?**

We’re Atomic Coffee Roasters, a specialty roaster who have been at the forefront of the coffee industry since 1992. Using Fairtrade, specialty-grade coffee, we source, roast, and blend our beans to achieve a complex and challenging taste profile.

We’re a leader in the NZ Specialty Coffee industry, with a team of passionate and knowledgeable hospitality professionals, who believe in being serious about our coffee but not taking ourselves too seriously.

We take pride in not only serving the finest coffee but also providing customers with the opportunity to bring the magic home by offering a curated selection of Rocket coffee machines.

**Why join us as our Workshop Technician?**

We are looking for a Workshop Technician to join our close-knit team at our Rocket site in Ponsonby. This role entails diagnosing, repairing, and servicing commercial and residential coffee machinery onsite. You'll also play a role in ensuring the smooth, safe, and efficient operation of all workshop functions, from basic maintenance duties to overseeing inventory control and dispatching of goods.

**Who are we looking for?**

You’ll be a coffee person and a natural problem solver with technical aptitude. You’ll understand the value of communication and collaboration both internally and externally to ensure you are providing our customers with the best coffee experience. Your accuracy, detail, and timeliness when it comes to completion are equally as important. Experience in the coffee industry is preferred. If you don’t come from the coffee industry, we’d still like to hear from you and how your transferrable skills set you up for success.

**What we offer?**

Joining our business means immersing yourself in the world of coffee and leveraging exciting learning opportunities across our Australia and New Zealand UCC business. Our commitment to your growth includes career development, coffee, and a focus on your wellbeing, offering "recharge leave" which is five additional days annually to recharge in your preferred way.
