**Who are we looking for?**

Our Palmerston North office is currently seeking an experienced Transport Team Leader to become an integral member of our Central and National Transport team.

Join our team of globally connected specialists to help solve complex transport challenges and experience groundbreaking projects from idea to delivery, and beyond.

**Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in**:

- Team Management, Contract Management, Administration and Systems, overseeing design solutions, managing client and stakeholder relationships and acting Engineer to various Physical Works Contracts
- We are a multi-disciplinary environment although the role covers car parks, roads, subdivisions, roundabouts etc an interest in or experience in drainage design and other civil works is desirable
- Central to the role is the ability to win new work to keep the team busy - the ability to nurture and improve existing client relationships and spending quality time with their key stakeholders

**What you will bring to the team**:

- A proven leader working primarily on projects for Transit NZ and Local Authority and other national capital works and road maintenance projects
- Working knowledge of Transit NZ and Land Transport NZ standards and guidelines
- Qualified with BE (Civil), NZCE, REA, Dip Highway Eng or similar, have a minimum of 10 years New Zealand experience
- A strong relationship based approach, confidence and excellent communication skills will be necessary to deal with our clients, contractors, landowners and the general public.
