At Manatū Hauora - Ministry of Health we are the kaitiaki of the health system, providing leadership and driving strategy and performance. We regulate the health sector and are the primary source of advice on health matters.
This role sits in the Web Team at Manatū Hauora - Ministry of Health. The Web Team manages and coordinates our website as a critical communication channel to the sector, our stakeholders and the NZ public. The Web Team is part of the wider Channels Team within Communications and Engagement.

Ko ake mahi - What you'll do
Your mission is to craft content that's not only high-quality but also accurate, relevant, user-friendly, and accessible, ensuring an exceptional experience for our audience. You'll be a pivotal member of our dynamic Web Team at Manatū Hauora, reporting directly to the Channels Manager. Join us in shaping the future of digital communication and make your mark in a role that truly matters.

**In this role you will**:

- Lead and manage website design
- Develop and own content, meeting requirements in terms of style and project specifications
- Cultivate positive relationships across various stakeholders
- Guide and mentor a team to build capability
- Champion equity and Treaty of Waitangi responsibilities

Ko pūkenga - What you'll bring
- Experience in both strategic content design and content writing
- Experience designing user-centred content with ability to make complex language and processes easy to understand for different audiences
- Experience in presenting information in the right format for what users need, in plain language and accessible to all
- Ability to effectively manage priorities and execute tasks within tight deadlines
- Strong relationship building capability to engage with stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts (SME's) to ensure their content requirements are met
