**Housekeeper Position**:
We will offer a full-time permanent role with a minimum of 30 hours a week. Pay rate is $25-$30 per hour. No other rates or bonuses are offered for this role. A uniform will be provided. All work is completed on site at the Top Star Motel.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Minimum 6 month of housekeeping experience is preferred for this role.
- No specific qualifications are required for this role.
- Training will be provided if you are willing to learn new cleaning methods and how to use various equipment.

**Job Objective**:

- To provide a high standard of cleaning for the premises with a positive attitude.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Change and make beds in all accommodation types.
- Empty wastebaskets, recycling bins, empty and clean ashtrays, and transport other trash to disposal areas.
- Maintain a high standard of guest satisfaction by being responsive to requests
- Collect laundry, washing or ironing as directed.
- Wash, sort and press clean linens, and store them in linen room.
- Advise office staff of accommodation ready for occupancy.
- Clean ablution blocks, showers, toilets and kitchens as directed and supervised.
- Clean rooms and other work areas so that health standards are met.
- Keep storage areas and carts well‐stocked, clean, and tidy.
- Observe all health and safety procedures
- Any additional duties or responsibilities related to the position as directed.
- Ensure all BBQ’s are kept clean and gas bottles are full
- Wash windows, walls, ceilings, and exterior of buildings as necessary
