Exciting 3 month opportunity to join a property team to manage a central based building

**Your new company**

You will be working with one of the largest financial institutes that gives people, communities and businesses the confidence to spend, borrow and save money in their daily lives. They are seeking an experienced facility coordinator to lend a helping hand for 3 months starting on the 1st August.

**Your new role**

The Property Asset Coordinator is instrumental in ensuring the availability, stability and resilience of infrastructure & services to the organisations building. The role also supports the wider property team (for cover or specific projects) in their management of their workspaces and services across the two office locations. The Health and Safety management of contractors and building/plant risk is a key priority and critical deliverable for this position.
- Management of building infrastructure, maintenance requirements, and upgrade/replacement works whilst ensuring that risks are managed appropriately, and ensuring that building, work and contractor comply with relevant legislation, standards, and code.
- Hands on mitigation of health and safety risks by engaging with all organisation and tenant contractors on their scope of works to understand risk (with a particular focus on asbestos) and ensure that full health and safety documentation is in place covering the necessary controls, including the permit to work system where required
- Provide technical advice around current and future property and facilities considerations, including but not limited to Asset Management, Green initiatives, building improvements, and future requirements - implement in line with agreed scope

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Proven experience working in facilities / property, preferably in a coordination capacity although this is not essential
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to commit to the 3-month assignment length
- Rights to work in New Zealand
