**The Role**

Our Butchery Packers are responsible for providing excellent customer service by assisting our customers with all their queries.

You’ll be responsible for keeping the butchery case looking its best by efficiently packing and labelling meat, ensuring that a maximum range and good quantity of product is available for sale for the correct price at all times during opening hours.

Unloading and making off deliveries, merchandising and stock rotation.

Maintaining a clean and hygienic department, following food safety guidelines, and completing paperwork.

Helping the butchery team in daily tasks, you’ll develop product knowledge through the training we’ll provide but you’ll need to bring the passion for hard work, service excellence and pride in your work.

**To be successful in this position you’ll need to be**:

- Friendly, approachable and have excellent customer service skills
- A great team player who is willing to go the extra mile for their colleagues
- Physically fit & strong - there will be heavy lifting involved and you will be on your feet all shift
- Good work ethic, committed and reliable
- Happy to work in a cold environment and with raw meat
- Good time management and organizational skills
