**Minimum guaranteed hours of work Per week: 30**
**Days Required: Monday to Saturday (flexible hours)**
**Hourly rate: $30.00 per hour**

We are currently looking for a Site Foremen to join us in Auckland Region. You should have a positive attitude. You must be mature and responsible when it comes to dealing with tough situations. Your duties will include but not limited to:
**1) Prepare and Implement Project Methodology**
Prepare in conjunction with the Project Manager and site team the overall construction methodology.
Be fully conversant with all aspects of the project's construction.
Identify critical construction issues, risks and opportunities and prepare a plan to manage them.
Implement and regularly review and update the overall job methodology after consultation with the project team and subcontractors.
Produce details and method statements for temporary works including scaffolding, formwork, propping and site layouts for project.
Carry out set out work and ensure its accuracy.
Provide input on information requirements to Project Manager.
Escalate any unresolved issues to the Project Manager within three days.
Liaise with Clients, Consultants and Subcontractors, Suppliers and Local Authorities.

**2) Ensure the Required Project Quality is Achieved**
Produce and implement a quality assurance plan for the project.
Monitor quality and carry out inspections to ensure that specified standards are being met.
Ensure all work is completed in accordance with the specifications and drawings.
Carry out final inspections of project prior to presenting to client for final inspections.

**3) Ensure Project Profit is Optimized**
Ensure labour, plant and materials are well organized and used effectively and efficiently on the project.
Ensure all variations are fully documented.
Quality and effectively complete all post contract maintenance work.
Check goods received to ensure quality and quantity are correct and verify this by noting goods acceptance on delivery docket or purchase order.

**4) Ensure Timely Comple3on of Projects**
From the overall construction program produce short
- and medium-term programmes and issue to site staff, subcontractors and suppliers.
Prepare three weekly rolling bar chart programmes for subcontractor work, update daily and reissue weekly to the Project Manager. Record actual progress achieved on a daily basis.
Ensure the project maintains programme.
Report all delays to the Project Manager and work with him to identify recovery strategies or extension of time claims.

**5) Implement Health and Safety Policy**
Ensure the project has a site-specific Health and Safety programme in place.
Ensure subcontractors Health and Safety obligations are clearly identified and that all personnel areinducted on arrival on site.
Ensure all staff are conversant with and inducted on with Health and Safety Policy.
Ensure that Health and Safety policies are being displayed and adhered to on the project.
Prepare Task Analysis for activities undertaken by employees.
Organize and chair Health and Safety meetings
Remove from site anyone who does not comply with Health and Safety policy.
Maintain site hazard board, safety file, accident records and evacuation plan.
Maintain First Aid Kit and Fire Extinguisher on site.
Keep site clean and tidy at all times including lunchroom and toilet.
Ensure all accidents are reported to the Site Manager.

**6) Staff and Labour Management and Development**
Prepare and manage carpenter resource requirements in advance and advise Project Manager ofthese to ensure that appropriate people are available for the project.
Use three weekly roiling programme for daily resource planning and allocation.
Provide overall management and planning for carpentry team on the project.
Advice on performance on carpenters.
Help motivate, support, guide and train staff.
Attend team and site meetings and organize toolbox meetings.
Maintain daily contact with key project staff
