**POSITION: GENERAL LABOURER**

**LOCATION: AUCKLAND**

**REPORT TO**: Site Engineer, Foremen, Manger and Manager Team

**DATE**:March 2024

**ROLE PURPOSE**

To ensure Matusalem Earthworks Limited subcontract works are completed to a quality finished, by assisting the Machine operator to complete the job and keeping the place work safe and tidy.

**HOURS OF WORK**

From Monday to Friday 7:00 am to 5pm and Saturday 7:am to 2pm.

**Responsibilities**

To fill out weekly time sheet in an honest manner.
To daily grease and clean up the digger machine.
To ensure to help project deadline are met by providing assistance to machine operator.
To ensure site management is aware of any serious problem as soon as possible.
To help in project cost are minimised by correctly following requirement and instruction.
To maintain company resources by keeping it clean and well cared for.
Ensure you and fellow workers take reasonable practicable care for their own health and safety as a shared responsibility.
Participate in the identification, reporting and controls of health and safety hazard and risk.
Participate in the accurate reporting, recording and evaluating near missed, incident and accident.
Follow reasonable health and safety advise, instruction and requirements.
Help in cleaning Up the trench.
Help to maintain the construction site tidy and safe.
Set up fence if the trench is open.
Guiding the auger drill and clean up up the spiral drill.
Manually spreading fine and gab 65 using shovel and rake and level.
Operate Manual plate compactor.
Open for improvement and willing to learn operate digger machine.
Help to locate and avoid existing underground services and works to set limits for excavating depth and area.

**Salary**: Up to $31.62 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
