He Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role
Our service provides comprehensive health assessments for children that are referred by Oranga Tamariki in the Western and Eastern Bay of Plenty. We will be appointing a part-time 0.6 FTE (24 hours per week) to work alongside another part-time coordinator. Some flexibility may be required to work extended hours to cover when their colleague is on leave.
He Korero mōu - About You
The coordinator is responsible for running the Gateway Assessment service including managing the referrals, assessment schedules, reporting and coordinating multidisciplinary meetings. The position requires a registered health practitioner with experience in working with children and families within the child/youth sector. An ability to establish and maintain productive relationships with clinical staff and Oranga Tamariki is a key requirement.
