Are you interested in working in a modern, world-renowned tertiary hospital that provides a comprehensive orientation and ongoing education in a supportive, team-based environment?

We are seeking a Senior Registered Nurse with exceptional leadership and advanced nursing skills for the role of **_Nurse Specialist - Neurosurgery (Neurovascular)_**. Your primary responsibility would be to provide specialised nursing care and case management of patients with neurovascular conditions such as cerebral aneurysm, SAH, AVM. You would also be expected to provide professional and clinical leadership, patient care coordination, education and clinical teaching to both patients and staff.

You will need to work independently as part of a supportive senior nursing and multidisciplinary team dedicated to evidence-based nursing practice. The ideal applicant will have neurosurgery and/or neurology nursing experience and be practising at a Level 3-4 RN &/or senior nurse level, preferably with a postgraduate certificate or diploma in specialty nursing practice.

It is essential that you meet the following criteria:

- Have at least 3-5 years post-graduate experience, preferably in neurosurgery/neurology.
- Interact effectively with a multi-disciplinary team and service members
- Maintain safe cultural practice and develop your cultural knowledge
- Have excellent supervisory, communication and problem-solving skills in order to relate to and work with staff and patients at all levels.
- Have NZ nursing registration with a current Annual Practicing Certificate
