The Open Pit Mine Operations crew at Macraes, are currently looking for a Mine Operator
- Driller, to join their team. Previous drilling experience would be beneficial however this role is open to anyone with the right attitude and willingness to learn.

The position available is working on a 50/50 roster pattern: 7 days on, 7 days off; 7 nights on 7 days off.
- Key tasks and responsibilities:
- Operate either a variety of top-hole hammer blasthole drill rigs or Sandvik D45KS rotary drills
- Ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment at all times
- Achieve agreed production and personal objectives
- Carry out pre-start and post operational checks as required

**Qualifications**:

- Hold a full, clean, current driver’s license and are confident driving a manual vehicle
- Be able to confidently communicate within a team environment
- Drilling experience beneficial
- Have an interest in heavy machinery
- Be a safety conscious individual committed to maintaining an excellent safety record
- Pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing
