Auckland City, New Zealand Frog Recruitment Full time

Help us develop the next generation of tradies
- Inspire, educate and build yourself a new career
- Amazing culture and passionate people just like you

If the idea of training, supporting and passing on your knowledge to others to enable them to achieve their career goals is something you have thought about or wish to continue in, then have we got the career step for you This doesn’t mean downing tools completely, but it does mean channeling your passion into a role you can truly make your own.

The demand for electrical experts just doesn’t let up, which is why ETEC are adding another tutor to their team of experienced industry professionals. Join them, and you’ll be right at home in a team that’s all about mentoring, educating and inspiring people to successfully complete their nationally recognized credentials.

You’ll do this at ETEC’s state of the art training facility in East Tamaki, where your role will be a mix of small classes, bloc courses and at times, evening contact sessions.

Naturally, you won’t be unleashed on a class of apprentices without plenty of training and support, learning the ropes from other tutors and slowly building your teaching capabilities. You’ll also support the Programme Manager with a host of associated training support, such as internal and external moderation, validation and audit requirements, and assisting with the development of new training material and assessment tools.

Aside from your electrical qualifications, industry experience and knowledge of current relevant legislation, the most important skill you will bring to this role is an ability to engage and inspire people. You’ll know how to communicate with them, motivate them and get the best from them.

In return, you can look forward to an attractive salary and fantastic range of benefits, including superannuation, life insurance, discounts, birthday leave, ongoing training and development, coffee via an awesome coffee machine and fresh fruit daily If you’re keen to explore your passion for youth and take your career in a new and rewarding direction, contact Angela Yee today.
