We are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager, with a passion for growing and developing high-performing teams, who can lead our Talent Acquisition Team through an exciting period of change at Te Whatu Ora | Health New Zealand, Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty.

Te Whatu Ora | Health New Zealand leads the day to day running of the health system across New Zealand, with functions delivered at local, district, regional and national levels. It weaves the functions of the 20 former District Health Boards into its regional divisions and district offices, ensuring continuity of services in the health system.

Our Bay of Plenty operations serve a population of approximately 238,380 for the major population centres of Tauranga, Katikati, Te Puke, Whakatane, Kawerau and Opotiki. Our operations spread across a vast geographical area and are centred across two hospitals based in Tauranga and Whakatane. We are one of the Bay of Plenty's largest employers with over 3700 staff.

**He Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role**

This is an exciting period of change for our team, as we transition to Te Whatu Ora | Health New Zealand and become more connected to other regional recruitment teams across the Motu.

As an integral member of the People & Culture Leadership Team, you'll be instrumental in:

- Leading and growing the Talent Acquisition function within Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty,
- Leading the review, design and implementation of local sourcing strategies and process improvements
- Leading the implementation of national changes to recruitment policies and processes into Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty, as we become a ‘team of teams' at Te Whatu Ora | Health New Zealand.

**He Korero mōu - About You**

You will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

- Strong leadership skills with previous experience in a people Management position
- Extensive experience in Recruitment and developing talent sourcing strategies
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to establish trust and credibility, and influence at all levels.
- Knowledge of Tikanga, Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and the principles of Kaupapa Māori, and commitment to incorporating these principles into our Recruitment processes
- Comfortable navigating change, with the ability to implement national changes to Talent Acquisition policies at a local level
