**He Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role**
The Allied Health team at Whakatāne Hospital is looking for an occupational therapist to join their team. This is a permanent full-time position and offers the opportunity to work across acute rehabilitation, emergency and inpatient wards (medical, surgical and paediatric).
The Allied Health teams are experienced and friendly teams who work together to support each other, to provide best outcomes for our clients.
This role is covered by the PSA Allied Public Health, Scientific and Technical Collective Agreement. Salary range for this position is $77,087 to $110,210.
**He Korero mōu - About You**
You will be a New Zealand registered Occupational Therapist with preferably experience in rehabilitation and acute inpatient / hospital settings. You will be able to work autonomously and collaboratively and have excellent clinical and problem solving skills and an ability to communicate effectively with health professionals, health agencies, tangata whaiora/ clients and whanāu.
You will preferably hold accreditation for enable funding in personal care, household management, and basic housing. Wheeled mobility and postural support level 1 would be an advantage.
