As part of our commitment to developing and servicing our key clients across New Zealand, we are looking to appoint two Senior Civil Engineers to work on a wide range of interesting and innovative projects across our Transport sector.
This role represents a great opportunity for a person with demonstrated experience who is looking for a new challenge and career development to join a supportive business with a real focus on our people and client delivery.
Summary of key tasks:
Working as an integral part of the Transportation team your responsibilities will include:
The planning and design of transport and civil engineering projects.

Undertaking and managing construction surveillance activities

Working collaboratively with internal teams, subconsultants and clients to deliver innovative technical solutions

Preparing reports and technical specifications
- Minimum academic, professional qualifications, experience and other skills:
4 years’ experience working as a digital designer

Demonstrable experience in concept, preliminary and detailed design of transport and civil engineering infrastructure projects

Good working knowledge of local design standards

Strong proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD modelling & documentation software

Effective communication skills and team working

Willingness to adopt emerging technologies

Ability to explain design techniques to other users

A passion to be a mentor to our early career professionals
