**About this role**
Do you find purpose in connecting the digital with the physical world? We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Civil Engineer to join our vibrant Civil team in Auckland where you will be involved in a broad range of exciting Civil infrastructure projects in the region. You will play a key role in enhancing the team’s portfolio of skills and expertise.

**What will I do?**
- You will undertake and be responsible for developing concept, detailed, tender and construction design and documentation. You will be asked to provide technical consultation in general areas of Civil design including, roading and alignments, earthworks, three waters and general site development.
- You will work without supervision, referring up as necessary. In achieving this you will be responsible for meeting deadlines, monitoring budgets and resourcing and controlling expenditure to meet financial targets in your own area.
- You will be responsible for the performance and development of others through provision of guidance, training, direction, and feedback.
- Your work will involve small and medium sized projects, as well as being a key member of larger project groups. This will include design and technical documentation as well as design timeframes and cost estimates to assist with bidding and tender submissions.

**What will I bring?**
- Recognised relevant tertiary qualifications. (Washington Accord Equivalence preferable).
- Relevant industry experience in Civil Engineering within a consulting business environment.
- Membership of relevant professional institutions/professional peer bodies; CPEng in Civil Engineering would be advantageous.
- Proven working knowledge of relevant New Zealand standards, legislation, regulations, codes of practice, and guidelines.
- Proven skill in the use of Civil 3D or 12D (proficient user preferable). Experience in other design software (eg. HECRAS, TUFLOW, GIS) would be seen as advantageous.
