This position is based at our Cambridge community base. In this role you will provide occupational therapy services to clients within their home environment in Cambridge and the surrounding area. You will be collaborating with professional groups in a multidisciplinary setting and providing specialist occupational therapy assessment and interventions. Manage your own caseload and wait list and have a level of autonomy. Have access training to gain Housing, W/chair and Postural Management accreditations.

**Mōu | About you**
Skills and experience you’ll need to be considered for the role:
- At least 12 months post qualification experience and ideally experience with the Ministry of Health funding process, however will consider new graduate OTs
- Rehab experience
- Sound clinical reasoning skills and use of evidence informed practice
- Effective time management, prioritisation and organisation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a range of professional groups in a multidisciplinary setting
- Full driver’s licence

Allied Health is a department of the Waikato District that provides Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech & Language Therapy, Dietetic, Audiology & New Born Hearing screening, Social Work, and Psychology services. Staff within these professions are all involved in direct client care and work in a wide range of situations to improve the health and wellbeing of the people they work with. Allied Health staff work in partnership with individuals and their family/whanau to facilitate relationships and a smooth journey through the healthcare system.
