Rare leadership position within our Regulatory Services group
- Leading regulatory and road safety outcomes

- Extensive experience in a regulatory environment, including investigation and compliance activities
- Experience in risk management, including the development and deployment of effective risk mitigations
- Demonstrated experience building relationships with a range of stakeholders (internal and external)
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and high resilience, particularly in working with members of the public
- Either holds Enforcement Officer Certification, or has sufficient regulatory experience to obtain certification through Waka Kotahi
- Previous experience of local and/or central government is preferred

You will demonstrate knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an understanding of Te Ao Māori and promote tikanga and Te Reo Māori.
