We are looking for energetic and enthusiastic people to join our team at SHANSONS TRADING COMPANY
- LIMITED AS WESTSIDE SUPERETTE, Auckland, New Zealand. Currently, we have 3 Retail Sales Assistant
- positions available at our STORE in Auckland. This is an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic, and
- friendly retail team where excellence, success and people are valued and rewarded. The job involves heavy
- lifting of boxes (up to 25 kg), customer service both on the floor and serving on the Point-of-Sale system,
- stocking shelves and other jobs needed in the store.
- This is full
- time, permanent employment with a minimum of 30 hours a week and an hourly rate of NZ$29.70/hour.

**You will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards**:

- Support the store manager with an array of operational tasks and projects, including stock ordering, stock takes, banking, cash handling, merchandising, and much more.
- Labelling goods and ensuring the correct price is displayed.
- Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards.
- Opening and closing of premises and associated security
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
- Be courageous with being bold, innovative and not afraid to take on any aspect of the role.
- A self-starter capable of working well by yourself on solo shifts and staying motivated.
- Handling the cash counter & invoice the customers for the goods purchased.
- Listening to customers’ complaints & forward it to the management to address it in a
- professional manner.

- Must be Non-Smoker.
- Must not consume/smoking vaping product
- Must be able to drive Manual Van
- Must have full Class I Driving License of New Zealand or overseas equivalent license to drive
- Automatic and Manual Van.
Must not have any criminal conviction
- Must not have any serious driving conviction
- Must be able to pass random drug test
- Must be able to life weight up to 25kg
- Able to work in Split shifts (Morning to evening from 7:00 to 8:00PM)
- Someone that has a proactive approach, motivation to achieve and improve continuously
- A natural ability to build rapport with any customer and assist their buying decisions.
- Be physically fit, hardworking and reliable person with great attention to detail.
- The ability to work as part of a team as well as on your own (unsupervised)
- A passion for providing excellent customer service and always putting the customer first.
- Great communication and computer skills
- A positive attitude with the ability to problem solve.
- The ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure.
- A passion for sales and prior sales experience in a similar environment is an added advantage.
Available to work on weekends, and public holidays.
- Able to start early and finish late shift when require.
