The Opportunity

A rare opportunity has arisen for a Payroll Administrator to join a super friendly, high performing payroll team as a Payroll Administrator New Zealand in the Shared Service Centre.

The Purpose

The purpose of this role is to provide administrative support to the payroll officers, payroll supervisors and senior payroll team.

Tasks include both entering timesheets and working within our eTimesheet module. Completing employment agreements and award interpretation, completing employee master file maintenance, and any other tasks as delegated by the Payroll Supervisor.

Thus ensuring all employees are paid on a timely and accurate basis in accordance with employment agreements, company policy, employment and tax legislation.

Ideally, what you'll bring to the table
- You will have a sound understanding and demonstrated knowledge of payroll related legislation, e.g. Holidays Act, Employment Relations Act, ACC Act
- Have a demonstrated knowledge of Collective Agreements
- PayGlobal Experience
- Continuous Improvement mindset, always on the look out for ways of improving processes
- Have a strong customer service focus
- Intermediate to advance use of Excel, e.g. can do vlookup's and pivot tables
- Happy to work collaboratively alongside others in a large and busy team
- Is a fast, effective and accurate worker
