**The opportunity**

SBT Marketing purchases and exports animal by products around the world. The goods they trade are upcycled from waste streams that would have otherwise been landfilled or composted. As their business continues to grow, they have recognised the need for a dynamic Sales and Supply Chain Professional who is keen to join the business and make a difference.

This is an exciting opportunity for you to become part of a unique team of professionals, where you will be supported in developing a distinctive set of skills. Working closely with the Sales and Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for minimising domestic and international freight costs. You will also support the Shipping & Documentation team to deliver exceptional and timely service to customers.

This role will initially start out with a strong focus on freight management, which will help you to learn the business inside out. This will give you the perfect foundation to step up and take over more responsibility in sales and client relationships, delivering sustainable value to SBT Marketing’s various stakeholders.

- Experience working in a sales environment with an understanding of sales processes
- The ability to analyse numbers and draw rational conclusions
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- The ability to ‘zoom in’ on detail quickly and accurately

SBT Marketing is ideally looking for someone with a background/skillset in sales who has an analytical mind. Understanding of freight management would be advantageous however, for the right person, the team will provide training to bring you up to speed.
