**Test Manager**

A major player within their field in the Asia-Pacific region, this international and successful organisation represents a wide range of New Zealand’s top brands with over 60 locations in New Zealand alone. They are looking for a driven and passionate QA Test Manager, someone that isn't afraid to get stuck in, take ownership and work collaboratively with the team as they fully transition to D365 automated testing. **Objectives of the role**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Select the appropriate testing approach, including manual and automated testing.
- Plans and drive testing activities across all stages and iterations of product, systems and service development.
- Develop and executes test plans and test cases.
- Plan and drive testing activities across all stages and iterations of product, systems and service development.
- Implement scalable and reliable automated tests and frameworks.
- Collaborate across parties involved in product, systems or service design and development to enable comprehensive test coverage. Identifying improvements in requirements, design or specification processes to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of testing.
- Analyse and report on test activities, results, issues and risks, including the work of others.
- Provide authoritative advice and guidance on any aspect of test planning and execution. Adopt and adapt appropriate testing methods, automated tools and techniques to solve problems in tools and testing approaches.
- Manage and run the KPO forums.
- Keep all stakeholders updated on the planning and progress of testing.
- Define and implement the role testing plays within the organization.
- Define the scope of testing within the context of each release/delivery.
- Deploy and manage the appropriate testing framework to meet the testing mandate.
- Implement and evolve the appropriate measurements and metrics.
- To be applied against the product under test.
- To be applied against the testing team.
- Plan, deploy and manage the testing effort for any given engagement/release. (Testing may include Unit and Functional testing)
- Manage the change control process and assess and manages risks. formulating contingency plans as required
- Ensures that realistic testing plans are maintained and delivers regular and accurate communication to stakeholders.
- Ensures that test deliverables are completed within agreed cost, timescale and resource budgets, and are formally accepted, by appropriate stakeholders.
- Adopt and adapt testing methods and tools.
- Manage the expectations of key project stakeholders.
- Tailor processes in line with agreed standards and evaluation of methods and tools.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of experience in QA and Testing
- Experience in ERP, CRM or DMS platform
- Strong understanding of software development principles and well-versed with the Software delivery lifecycle (Agile, Waterfall)
- Proven experience in manual and automated Testing
- Experience in conducting design thinking workshops
- Experience with RSAT and D365 tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

**Salary**: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
