Then this could be the position for you. We are looking for a Frontline Services Coordinator (Central) to join the Library.

You will lead a busy team of Library Assistants based at the Davis Library providing frontline customer service. This will include, but is not limited to, handling checkouts, advising customers on reading, shelving, and assisting with public computer enquiries. Our customer service offering includes a limited café service (training will be provided)

Part of your working week will be spent on the floor alongside your team.

Your other duties will include:

- Maintaining a roster for frontline staffing, ensuring safe and competent service delivery
- Maintaining high service delivery standards through appropriate orientation, training and performance review
- Developing and delivering programmes yourself and with your team that assist the Library's core mission of "more readers, reading more"

You will need excellent organisational and people skills and be comfortable multi-tasking. You will be able to inspire engagement and trust, and be comfortable guiding and mentoring. Previous supervisory or management experience is desirable.

The position is 40hrs/week:

- Monday-Friday 9.15-6.15 (60mins unpaid lunch break)
