The Opportunity:
As Senior Developer (Integration), you will contribute to the design, development, deployment and support of Technical Solutions.

About the role:
Using a range of agreed technologies, you will be working on project(s), Small Work Requests and/or BAU activities, covering systems and platforms in your domain.

Technical Business Analysis- Assess and understand the business requirements through liaison with key business user groups / stakeholders.- Ensure high level functional and non-functional requirements have been captured.

Technical Design- Ensure you have a detailed technical knowledge of the designs, implementation and infrastructure related to your assigned systems.- Create and maintain Technical Designs that adhere to all applicable standards and have taken into considerations associated data, system integration, security, scalability, supportability and complexity.- Liaise with the Solution Architect and/or Technical Lead to ensure Technical Designs align with the architectural requirements and other project deliverables.

Application Development- Where required design, code, unit test, build and deploy software components.- Ensure all code, defects and releases are managed using the agreed tools and processes.

Technical Support- Contribute to the a proactive programme of work to ensure your systems remain robust, reliable and supportable.- Contribute to the timely resolution to any incidents impacted your systems within the agreed Service Level Agreements.- Ensure a root cause analysis is undertaken for any incidents and any underlying issues are captured in a problem record.- Respond to queries about technical aspects of your assigned systems from stakeholders including internal customers, risk and audit teams.

Quality Assurance- Ensure that the technical quality of each deliverable is acceptable and aligned with best practice and agreed standards.- Perform risk and impact assessments on all deliverables.- Continually manage the expectations of the business and project stakeholders as technical solution and deliverables evolves.

Leading and Mentoring Development Team- Work collaboratively with the AIA Development Teams (local and offshore) and vendors to deliver required software solutions.- Support developers and other resources, in gaining an understanding of the AIA systems, infrastructure, processes and constraints.- Contribute to the on-going retention of technical knowledge and skills to ensure the ongoing supportability of systems.

About you:
Methodology - Agile (Scrum) & Waterfall regardless of the domain.- Other mandatory technical skills that depend on the domain the role and assigned systems will be provided separately.- Managing your workload to ensure delivery objectives are met.

Performs other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor in order to meet reasonable operational and/or other requirements

- Oracle Fusion Middleware- Software AG API GW- Software AG Integration- Azure and Azure native integration- ASP.Net- Event driven integration architecture- OKTA- Strong commercial experience of working within software development projects preferably in Insurance or Financial industry- Experience in software design and architecture
