**The Company**:
Founded in 2012 with a core focus on R&D, this company has pivoted in the past two years towards the commercial deployment of its innovative systems at customer locales.
**Core Offerings**: They specialize in crafting wastewater treatment systems, distinctively advantageous over other competitors. This makes their product highly appealing for both non-food and food-contact usage.
**Future Vision**: Looking ahead, the company aspires to supply food contact solutions with a significant sustainability impact. This includes reduced Co2 emissions with low energy systems and reduced chemical uses.
**Location**: Ideally positioned in Central Auckland, the company is easily accessible from most parts of the city. A bonus? They offer free parking on-site.
**The Role**:
Are you an Automation & Electrical Engineer or a Mechatronics Engineer? This role beckons those who possess the knack to design, construct, and implement wastewater systems on-site.
**Your Scope**:
- Systems Development: Design, construct, and evolve filtration solutions.
- Client Interactions: Gauge client requirements across diverse sectors, design tailored solutions, and ensure seamless installations.
- Role Breakdown: 20% of your role resonates with design and R&D. The remaining 80% aligns with tailoring, creating (like control panels), deploying, and refining systems based on client specifics.
- On-Site Engagements: Expect field trials, installations, and commissioning visits to client locations.
- Travel: Occasional travel is on the cards—ranging from a few days to up to three weeks every couple of months. As work demands grow, the team will too.
- Transport: A company vehicle will be at your disposal for client visits.
- Career Growth: As the company evolves, you might find yourself in a pivotal role to onboard and mentor budding engineers, specifically in the electrical and automation domain.
**Required Expertise**:
- 3+ years in Automation, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Proficiency in LabVIEW.
- Acquaintance with machine controls and operation.
- Skills in process and electrical design.
- Mastery in PLC programming.
**Why Join Them?**
Purpose-Driven Mission: A noble cause of augmenting water sustainability.
