The Asset Finance Team is responsible for working alongside the Partners Network to provide appropriate Asset Finance funding solutions to both Commercial and Consumer customers. The Assets we fund are by definition fixed and need to fall under the criteria - Identifiable, Securable and Removable.

**Mō te Tūranga | About the Role**

We are looking for a proactive individual with Relationship Banking, Asset Finance and or Asset industry experience to join the Asset Finance team, based in Tauranga

In this role, you will identify and develop strategic relationships with prospects in the Corporate, Commercial and Business segments, work closely with the Partnership Banking Team and work with an inclusive national team to ensure a world-class delivery capability.

Key Accountabilities include:

- Being an expert in the promotion of Asset Finance products, having a broad understanding of Working Capital funding solutions, whilst meeting Customers' needs through a consistent and user-friendly approach.
- Collaborating with other parts of BNZ Partnership Banking to identify and deliver outstanding solutions across other verticals, including relationship management responsibilities.
- Working with local and national resources to deliver a simple and consistent process to 3rd Party intermediaries, professional firms and their customers, in line with national programs.

This role is to be based out of Tauranga (office based and work from home mix), however will cover stakeholders across Bay of Plenty.

This role is suited to a motivated, pro-active person with strong business development skills and industry knowledge. To be successful in this role, you will also have:

- Proven Relationship Banking and/or Asset Finance Industry experience
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage complex relationships
- Strong business acumen, to understand complex proposals and provide solutions
- A strategic perspective on markets and the impact on your portfolio and customers
