We have an exciting opportunity for a IMEX Container Coordinator to join our Hastings team. The working hours for this role will be Monday - Friday from **6:30am - 3:30pm.**

This role’s main responsibility will be to effectively co-ordinate FCL and empty container movements at one of our key client’s National Distribution Centre. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be assisting our key client and our FCL Dispatcher

**What you'll do**
- Effective, timely and safe handling of containers for the customer to achieve their shipment dates, on time, damage, and demurrage free.
- To Coordinate/load and unload all containers safely and securely, for both road and rail vehicles.
- Carry out daily yard check on containers, report any finding to Key Customer contact.
- To operate all equipment in a safe and proficient manner.
- To advise of arrival times and confirmed container numbers for special orders.
- Carry out inspections on adherence to transitional facility regulations for container placement.

**What you'll need**
- Experience using a 7 tonne forklift moving empty containers (minimum of 2-3 years)
- Experience working in the Transport/Logistics industry (1-2 years)
- Full F endorsed NZ Drivers license essential (clean)
- OSH Forklift Certificate essential
- Good computer skills and familiar with outlook and excel.
- Have own vehicle, work location is not accessible via public transport.
