We are looking for an exceptional leader/manager who has the right attitude, skills and drive to take over our seafood-orientated fun-dining venue, Harbourside Ocean Bar Grill. We seek someone hungry for their next challenge, motivated and energetic, ready to focus on taking us to the next level

Harbourside Ocean Bar Grill is located on level 1 of the iconic Ferry Building on Auckland’s waterfront in the CBD. It reopened in November 2013 after an extensive, six-month refurbishment program that has taken venue to a new level. Famous for its incredible harbour views and decadent seafood-centric menu, as well as high fashion events like Melbourne Cup and Winter Ball, Harbourside is an institution that remains at the top of Auckland’s hospitality scene.

Good Group Hospitality has been in operation for over twenty years and is a leading player in the New Zealand Hospitality industry. With businesses in both Auckland and Queenstown and now Melbourne, Sydney and Canberra, we have a very exciting opportunity for someone who knows how to run a busy venue but has some new and fresh ideas to lift us Do you have a successful track record for managing premium high-volume restaurants and who has a passion for delivering customer experiences second to none? Budgets, P&L's, GPs, Labour costs, EBITDA, staff training, local area marketing initiatives, stock and cash control, health & safety, POS Systems and The Sale & Supply of Liquor Act will all be second nature to you and you will be used to dealing with multiple key stake holders in the business.

The appointee will manage all day-to-day operations of the business and work closely with the Executive Team to maximise the growth potential of this thriving business.

**The successful applicant will have**:

- A strong, positive personality and flare.
- Demonstrated experience in senior hospitality roles including large scale restaurants.
- Proven experience in staff leadership, training, and development.
- Understand the value of events and be confident creating, implementing, and executing them.
- Excellent business management skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Experience in performance analysis, reporting and strategy development.
- Excellent decision-making skills and a can do approach to work.
