**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**
We are looking for an experienced administrator who is highly motivated, lives our Te Toka Tumai values, possesses excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with rapidly changing priorities to join our fast-paced and dynamic Oral Maxillofacial Service (OMS) team.

The role is managing the day to day operations of the department, working closely with equivalent roles across the surgical services and implementing improvement initiatives in partnership with the relevant clinical director. You will have the opportunity to utilise your strengths to develop this role and partner with different teams to enhance their potential. Ensuring compliance and performance targets are met will be at the forefront of your focus.
No two days will be the same and you will be a pillar in bringing the service forward.

This is a permanent, full time role (40 hours per week); primarily based at Middlemore Hospital as part of a broader Te Toka Tumai Team based at this location.

Your role and responsibilities include:

- Overseeing activities of your administration team including roster maintenance and coordination/communication of changes within clinics and OR's
- Providing leadership and support to the administration team, including undertaking administration tasks as required to meet the needs of the service
- Ensuring that you have a high functioning team and that capacity is utilised to see maximum number of patients in the shortest possible time
- Liaising with a variety of stakeholders

Applicants with leadership and clinical supervisory experience will have preference. Proficiency working with Titanium - patient management system is an advantage.
