**EXPERIENCED DOUGH BAKER**

**PAK'nSAVE ROTORUA**

PAK'nSAVE ROTORUA is a locally owned and operated supermarket in the beautiful Bay of Plenty where you have the pick of the great outdoors right at your back door.

This is a full time role and an exciting opportunity for a qualified Baker to join our busy team. Your experience with dough will aid you in assisting in the day to day running of our Bakery department, ensuring that a maximum range and sufficient quantity of high quality freshly baked products are available for sale at all times. We are essentially looking for an experienced dough baker

We are a fast-paced Bakery who believe in team spirit and comradery. There is no "I" in TEAM.

**Qualifications, experience, skills and attributes required for this role**:

- Bakery trade qualification or related course.
- Excellent understanding of ingredients and food preparation to craft recipes and create baked goods.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Knowledge of Food Safety and Health and Safety.
- Early morning starts and weekend work will be required with the flexibility to work extra shifts in staff absences.
- A team player willing and able to work well under pressure, in a busy kitchen environment.
- To be physically fit, healthy and able to cope with heavy lifting.
- Strong relationship building & problem solving skills with excellent verbal and written English communication.

Remuneration will be in line with experience and ability. This is a permanent role working 40 hours a week Wednesday to Sunday with 3am starts.
