We’ll be dishing up banging brunches through to yummy dinners and drinks - all day every day Gear Street Union is not your typical venue. In addition to a funky bar and fabulous cafe/restaurant, our retro fit out includes our own coffee roastery, a Gorilla Burger store and a barbershop - ALL on site

We’ll have a range of roles and hours that can fit out with your busy life and work balance.

We're searching for someone with an out of this world positive, blow us away attitude, a passion for hospitality, team & service skills that will rock Wellingtonians and tourists alike If you’re an absolute legend on the coffee machine, brighten people’s mornings, put a smile on their face and give them the best start to their day, you’re who we want to join our team
- Have experience as a Barista in a busy venue
- Have the ability to work a combination of morning, lunch and evening shifts during the weekdays and weekends
- Have a passion and desire to surprise and delight everyone that walks into the venue
- Understand the difference between “customer service” and creating a fantastic “customer experience” - creating the feeling of manaakitanga in the venue, with customers and with your team
- Are energetic and enthusiastic with great communication skills
- Are able to shift gears as required and be able to relax and roll with change & pressure
- Are going to be a team player with the ability to build great relationships with customers and team members
