**Petone's latest hot-spot, Gear Street Union, is looking for a Daytime Manager to join the team**
We dish up banging brunches through to yummy dinners and drinks - all day every day Gear Street Union is not your typical venue. In addition to a funky bar and fabulous cafe/restaurant, our retro fit out includes our own coffee roastery, a Gorilla Burger store and a barbershop - ALL on site With multiple dynamic spaces operating 7 days a week, this will be the challenge you are looking for You’ll need to lead from the front ensuring the whole team is 100% committed to wowing our guests every time. You’ll assist the Venue Manager to create a great team vibe with a sense of caring and looking after each other each day. Your eye for detail and organisational skill will ensure every customer's journey from start to finish is effortless.
This is a full-time position with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week. The hourly rate ranges from $25.00 - $28.00, depending on experience.

**We are looking for someone who has**:
- An outstanding employment history in the hospitality industry and previous management experience
- A valid LCQ and Manager’s License
- The ability to be a natural leader who can encourage their team
- Great communication skills
- The ability to be an awesome host and to create excellent customer experiences
- Discipline and is able to have strong control of a busy restaurant & bar
- A passion for good friendly service and an absolute pro on the floor
- Ambition, commitment to the role and a love of the service industry
