**Role Responsibilities**:

- Thorough understanding of the New Zealand media marketplace, and digital landscape staying up to date with new innovations and technologies. The latter being a critical focus for digital employees
- Basic understanding and experience on digital platforms - including Facebook Ad Manager, Google Analytics, Google Campaign Manager, Data Studio, Google Tag Manager.
- Basic understanding of the industries in client portfolio
- Assist in developing recommendations for clients driving home the creativity, innovation & effectiveness of an idea
- To brief media partners and evaluate their proposals in line with the team’s planning process
- To prepare the buying and implementation of digital media, and continually striving to bring new and innovative solutions to the table
- Working with specialists across SEM, AdOps and AMNET and helping project manage them
- To develop and maintain media schedules across client portfolio
- Working with the social specialist, to plan and manage social campaigns
- To prepare various reports including; interim and final reports, post analysis, competitive and planning documents
- Working with media and agencies on ensuring the timely delivery of material
- To ensure correct client billing by addressing any account queries and checking proformas

**Qualifications/Attributes**:

- Strong communication skills
- Effective time management
- Confidence in the area of media negotiation
- Past experience with digital platforms, potentially including (but not limited to) Google Analytics, Double Click, Facebook Ads Manager.
- As well as media planning platforms such as Roy Morgan, and Nielsen audience analysis tools
