**About the role**:
In this role, you will provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) services for our Beauty Therapy, Hairdressing, Makeup Artistry + Special Effects focused programmes. In this position, you will be working remotely and responsible for writing programmes under our Cut Above and/or Elite brands.

You will be involved in developing new and existing academic curriculum including resources across a suite of programmes to ensure academic success as measured by both internal and external metrics.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Develop and update educational assessment items based on specific LOs and GPOs
- Research, design, develop and write thoughtful, engaging, and easy-to-use lesson plans, learning experiences, student materials like workbooks, and tutor materials that align to approved programme documentation.
- Develop e-learning courses and putting them on-line for students to use
- Design formative and summative assessments, rubrics, and teacher guidance for utilizing assessment practices.
- Assist quality team as needed to prepare teaching resources and student workbooks ready to be used by the campus
- Provide effective support for development of course planning and teaching materials and documentation.
- Support teams in meeting scheduled timeframes for all planning.
- Prepare effective planning materials/paperwork.

**About you**:
It is desirable you have an industry-recognized qualification in either hairdressing, makeup artistry, SFX makeup artistry, or beauty therapy. You must also have:

- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with others during the design and development process
- Exceptional relationship building skills with the ability to maintain links with external education, professional and industry groups while working independently in a remote environment
- Exceptional communication and time management skills
