Forklift Driver

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a counterbalance FORKLIFT DRIVER to join their tight-knit team in Whangarei that recycles empty gas cylinders and produces gas cylinders for resale distribution that are freshly painted and filled.

Our client is the largest marketer of LPG in the Trans-Tasman region and provides LPG for NZ homes, businesses and BBQ customers.

With locations around the country, they ensure rapid supply and reliable delivery in virtually every area of NZ. They have perfected the delivery process with automatic tanker delivery and exchange delivery systems. They are dedicated to the safety of customers, employees and the communities in which they live.

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a counterbalance **_FORKLIFT DRIVER_** to join their tight-knit team in **_Whangarei _**that recycles empty gas cylinders and produces gas cylinders for resale distribution that are freshly painted and filled.

**About the Role**:

- Inspection of LPG cylinders to ensure the date is valid and for integrity
- Loading gas cylinders (full) by hand & Fork into cages to be delivered to customers
- General cleaning and organisation of the yard/shop when required
- Filling LPG Gas cylinders (FULL training Provided)
- Using various hand tools including paint scrapers
- Starting, operating, tending, stopping and cleaning

**Required availability**:

- Available to work Monday to Friday (with Saturday work when busy and required)
- Available to work full time hours
- Available to potentially work 4am to 12.30pm

**Required qualifications**:

- A current valid counterbalance forklift licence
- Will pass a police check
