AUT's School of Art + Design is one of New Zealand's largest providers of Art + Design education. We currently engage with approximately 1400 students and offer programmes of study from a multi-discipline Design Degree, a Visual Arts degree, through to Masters and Doctoral level post-graduate study.

**The School is seeking a Fashion Technician** to provide valuable assistance to staff and students to ensure they achieve their learning objectives and receive a positive and memorable experience in using the Fashion Facilities. Increasingly this facility supports hybrid and innovative uses of technology across other technical facilities.

Tertiary education is a diverse and rewarding work environment. You will be working with a range of students, staff and external clients, varied requirements and unusual teaching and research projects. We are looking for a capable person who has a tertiary qualification (certificate / diploma / degree) or industry qualification/experience appropriate to the level required to perform the job effectively and efficiently.

This role involves providing valuable technical assistance to staff and students to ensure they achieve their learning objectives and receive a positive and memorable experience in using the Fashion Technical Facilities.

**Salary Range**:$59,000 - $78,000 (dependent on experience and qualifications)
