This is a newly created role, developed to enable a dedicated focus on enhancing our engagement activities and creating a company culture that ensures our employees love working here. The role will be varied as you'll be responsible for leading the development and implementation of initiatives, work programmes and activities that meet our organisational needs and enhance our already dedicated, fun and supportive work environment.
Working with the Manager Culture and Engagement, you will take a human centred design approach where you will gather data, insights and information to determine where the challenges are within the organisation and how best to solve them. You will work alongside the wider People group as well as our organisation's leaders to ensure continuous enhancement of our employee journey and achieving results of positive change.
Your role will be key to creatively enhancing a culture where employees understand and deliver the on the organisation's vision, values, and objectives. You will help to develop and deliver a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion programme that enhances our employee experience and enables all our people to thrive in their roles. Together we will deliver our vision of more New Zealanders than ever believing the financial services sector is working well for them.
**He kōrero mōu**: About you
We're looking for someone who is energised by the possibilities and scope here to truly make a difference to an organisation and who can bring their creative thinking, drive and passion to this role. To be successful, you will need to demonstrate:

- a strong background and understanding of organisational development focused on culture, engagement, and employee experience, either developed as an OD/ Employee Experience specialist or in generalist HR/L&D.
- experience delivering and analysing employee engagement data with the ability to turn these insights into actionable improvement plans.
- a proven ability to collaborate, build strong relationships, communicate effectively and influence at all levels of an organisation.
- confidence and ability to juggle a number of priorities across a broad work programme, with a pragmatic and people focused style.
- strong attention to detail and a drive for achieving quality results and impact.
- understanding of Te Ao Māori concepts and values, tikanga and Te Reo Māori would be beneficial, however willingness to learn and develop in this space is critical.
