**About the role**:
As **a Security Specialist** in the Customer Identity & Access Management squad, you'll be part of our team that provides customer identity and access management capabilities that enable customers to access their money and data, while keeping them safe. This involves looking after the day-to-day operational capabilities within the squads and investing in several fundamental services that underpin the technology stack at ASB. Being part of the Engineering Practice at ASB we encourage our teams to work autonomously in an agile way while actively growing their skills and expertise to continuously improve outcomes for our customers.

You'll have the opportunity to get hands-on with some interesting and complex pieces of work that integrate on an enterprise scale, all while being part of an autonomous squad - your voice will be heard, and your opinions valued.

We advocate for T-Shaped teams which will take you through all facets of engineering in any given day. We are looking for a mix of skills to support the following activities:

- Build, run, maintain, and continuously improve our identity solution (IBM Security Access Manager), providing on-call support as required to resolve major incidents.
- Support the standards-aligned cloud transformation of our identity management ecosystem through consulting, design, and building out our new identity solution (PING)
- Foster an inclusive, collaborative environment within the teams you will work in.
- Monitoring, maintenance, and continuous improvements of our systems that run on Windows, Linux, and cloud

**About you**:

You will work collaboratively with our squads and stakeholders to be the voice of engineering and deliver products that delight our customers.

We are looking for someone who has:

- Experience in developing or implementing Customer Identity & Access Management solutions in one or more identity product suites (e.g., Ping, IBM Security Access Manager, Okta).
- Experience with technologies and protocols to support identity federation and robust access control models (e.g., SAML 2.0, WS-Federation, OAuth, OpenID Connect), or demonstrated ability to learn new concepts.
- Excellent collaboration, troubleshooting and communication skills, including the ability to work alongside other technology leaders.
- The ability to be a passionate, self-starter that can work on problems from inception to completion.

**In addition, the following would be advantageous but not necessary.**
- Proven hands-on experience in delivering robust Access Management solutions in complex cloud or non-cloud environments, with a preference on the Ping Identity platform (PingAccess, PingFederate and PingDirectory)
- Experience migrating from On-Premises to Cloud-based Customer Identity & Access Management solutions.
- Passion/interest in the cybersecurity context and threat landscape that Customer Identity & Access Management solutions will be delivered into.
- Experience with DevOps/Automation including CI/CD pipeline development and scripting.
- Understanding of Token Validation and Token Conversion in mobile channels
