We have an exciting opportunity to join our structures team based in Auckland as a Senior Structural Designer. Project work typically encompasses medium to large projects across New Zealand, but you will also have the opportunity to work on other projects across the Pacific. Every day will provide you with new challenges and look a little different, overall, this role will see you:

- Prepare and oversee the production of engineering drawings
- Coordinate, control receipt and interchange, and verify electronic engineering drawings
- Deliver projects from inception through to completion
- Provide technical advice to other designers and drafters
- Plan and resource projects effectively to meet targeted levels

Aligned with the level of the role, we envision that the base salary component will be in the region of NZ$95,000 - $115,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience. The role is full time and permanent, with minimum guaranteed hours of 40 hours a week.

**About you**

Your passion, design and problem-solving mindset will be matched with a desire to work on meaningful and significant projects across New Zealand in a multidisciplinary business. You will also have an enquiring mind, able to problem solve and think laterally. You will have a relevant tertiary or technical qualification or at least 5 years’ experience working in the Engineering industry with medium to large scale projects, ideally in a consulting environment. How you work is also important to us - we will value your enthusiasm and motivation to continue to learn from your peers and more senior members of the team
