**_ Are you a technically savvy Engineer seeking professional challenge? Work on projects at the heart of the Electricity Sector_**
Transpower sits at the centre of the New Zealand electricity industry. We plan, build, operate, and maintain the National Grid - the high voltage backbone that transmits electricity across the country 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Our core purpose is to empower the energy future for New Zealand - a future that delivers a net-zero carbon economy and a reliable and secure electricity system.
**About the team**
Within our Information Services & Technology (IST) Division, the Real-Time Systems Team integrates and interfaces various systems in the field to deliver accurate and reliable operational data to enable the operation of the National Grid. Their work includes:

We draw on each other's strengths, diversity, and passion to provide the best solutions to ensure safe and reliable operation of the Grid. We are on a journey of optimisation and continuous improvement, challenging ourselves to go from good to great.
